  • Repotting your plant with this base soil mix is straightforward and beneficial for your plant's health. Follow these simple steps to give your plant a fresh start:

     

    • Remove Old Soil: Gently remove as much of the old soil as you can. Hold the pot sideways and carefully squeeze it to loosen the plant. This helps ensure the roots are undamaged when removing the plant from the pot.

    • Clean the Roots: Run the roots under lukewarm water to wash away any remaining soil. This ensures your plant is ready to thrive in the new, nutrient-rich soil.

    • Trim Dead Foliage: Using a clean pair of scissors, remove any dead or damaged leaves. This promotes healthy new growth and refreshes the plant for its new environment.

    • Prepare the Pot: Add a thin layer of the base soil mix at the bottom of the pot to create a well-draining foundation.

    • Place the Plant: Set your plant in the pot and slowly fill the sides with more base soil. Make sure the root crown (where the roots meet the plant) is just below the soil surface.

    • Pat Down the Soil: Lightly press down the soil to stabilize the plant. After repotting, thoroughly water the soil to help it settle around the roots and provide essential hydration.
