An absolutely gorgeous hybrid of Anthurium dressleri Croat (second parent unknown) with wonderful velvety foliage and cordate leaves. It has deep red leaves when juvenile, which change to iridescent gold–bronze before maturing to a velvety dark green.
The genus name Anthurium is derived from Greek ánthos "flower" + ourá "tail" + New Latin –ium –ium . A very literal translation of this would be 'flowering tail'.
