Chlorophytum comosum 'Ocean' is a compact spider plant cultivar with arching green leaves edged in creamy white and a tidy rosette shape. As it matures, slender stems may carry small white flowers followed by young plantlets, creating the familiar cascading spider plant outline. Place 'Ocean' in bright filtered light, using a breathable potting mix and watering once the surface has dried lightly. The fleshy roots store moisture between waterings, while an airy mix keeps the roots lightly moist without sitting wet. This cultivar offers neat size, cream-edged leaves, plantlet-forming stems and a compact rosette as it matures.
